Tomorrow is the new/dark moon and today is the 14th day, the day of self-sacrifice as the Goddess surrenders this quality on this 14th day. Preparing to give herself to her beloved. Any last traces of self-identity are surrendered or pried from Her/us.
Day 14 of the dark half reminds me of Ishvara Pranidhana (which I talked about recently in the Q&A and will be discussing on Saturday in the YFNS workshop). These cycles gently guide us into surrendering all the ways we identify and dig our heels in this world so we can unite with the Truth that is All.
For those tracking the planetary transits and applying to their own chart, here is what it’s looking like. Four planets in Capricorn and three in Aquarius. This makes for not the best of times and definitely a harder than normal dark moon. This all points to this time of healing, a time of healing our lineage, a time of welcoming our ancestral inheritance and becoming more whole.
Crystal sent me a post this morning on Facebook that I want to share with you. I’ve been talking about meditation a lot because that is what many of you are asking of me, which says a lot about who we are as a group, how we all are evolving. Yoga is Meditation. Prayer is Meditation. Meditation is Prayer. Meditation is Yoga. These things are not different things, they are different modalities to access the same thing, the same Truth. The One.
Read about the power of group meditation from an experiment done in 1980: https://www.facebook.com/midwivesofthesoul/posts/2281047265387876 and also the YouTube video:
As without, so within. As within, so without.
🕊 Peace 🕊
PS… if you find these messages useful, I highly encourage you to share this message with others and have them subscribe. There is power in numbers. Power in group meditation practice. Even just intentional group dynamics, people coming together for the same reason, peace, raises the vibration. THIS is one thing we can do. Right intention and show up.
PSS…Yoga for the New Student is FREE! But people need to sign up online to get the links: https://thewisdomsanctuary.as.me/yfnsFREE
I like to wonder about things, and this morning I am wondering about meditation and something Jesus said, "Come unto me all you who labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Obviously he didn't mean just come and sit at his feet, although being in the presence of a "divine" figure creates peace. The statement is meant to inspire me to a better awareness of my spirituality. I expect we all have spirituality and in equal amounts. The difference is in how aware we are of being spiritual. This is where meditation comes into play. It is a process that helps me transcend the mind. To lay the thoughts about the past and the future aside and allow myself to be embraced by the Divine or to embrace the Divine - like the oceans surround and embrace the lands (I like that image). It is in that process, where I even cease to meditate, that I can find myself in awe of the Christ Consciousness, the expression of the Divine in all of creation. I can rest is the reality that this is all and I am an expression of the Divine.
