I want to say about practice: Finding consistency for a period of time, like 40 days, allows us to understand how a practice works. AND having a rigid practice is not required. In fact, I would recommend against it for many people. Allow your container (the 40 days) to hold the practice and within it find flow…and glow.
You might have noticed, I haven’t told you how to practice. I can do that, of course. But for now, I’m giving you baby steps of just creating a sacred container.
When we take on a practice like a 40 day practice, our energy is focused on one particular aspect of life and we begin to gather around us, into our circle, that which needs to be seen.
Conversations ensue.
Teachings arise.
Shit happens.
Journal/ Reflection Prompt:
We are human. I am human.
Often, what happens in practice, stays in practice. However, if you would like to be seen in your discoveries, please message me or write your cares in shares on this post. Seeing and being seen is one of the most important aspects of yoga practice.
I’m learning, through conversation, many of us are tired right now. Moon has been in Libra the last couple of days, the balancing point of the Zodiac and today it is in Vishaka, the energy compelling us on a new path.
I need some clarification! My genetic ancestors lived their lives but may have created some "ghosts" that might haunt me as I journey through my own life - perhaps problems, tasks left unfinished, emotional issues... Now there is another aspect I wonder about. What about the karma of the Self that has nothing to do with genetics. As I understand this, my Self is making my own journey without concern for genetics. So do I have to work on all of these issues?
