Part 4: The Case for Restorative Yoga and The Four Cornerstones
On Friday, Jupiter moves into the nakshatra of Revati and next week Venus will join, in this final asterism of the zodiac. Revati is the spiritual and worldly, the wealthy and transcendent and with the two teachers of the zodiac with those ideals: Jupiter is transcendent and Venus is wealthy. This transit is ushering us into a very fulfilling time period.

Endings are always beginnings, new journeys and paths. And so on Saturday, for the final of the four classes, we will practice a Yoga Nidra honoring this journey, this end, but also a beginning.

We’ve spent the last weeks talking about the four Vedic goals of a full life the cornerstones: Resources, Enjoyment and Relationships and Surrender all support this "cornerstone of the cornerstones." Dharma.
Ultimately Dharma is known by working through and co-participating with our karma, our lessons. From this tango with karma, the residue or afterglow illuminates our dharma. Our purpose.
Amazing.
Grace.
Having healthy resources, enough resources, enables us to feel supported enough.
Same with relationships and enjoyment, when we are enjoying life and being here or earth, we willingly "do the work."
And ultimately, all our "work" and "money/resources" are realized to be meaningless without purpose, and so we willingly surrender any fruits.
As we grow and start moving in this direction, we begin to tap into this dharma of this life. It is shown in the 1st house. Our 1st house is said to show the karma that is unchangeable in this life (we don’t get out of working with this karma unless we want to stay miserable).
Ultimately, our purpose is to see and learn from lessons and experiences, to rectify them, to own our shadows and unify our consciousness.
But as individuals living this particular life, we want to feel purposeful and we look to the 1st house to see how we are here to navigate this world, the 5th house to see what this mission is that we will be doing, and the 9th to see where we are going on this soul's journey through this life as a portal to the next life.
Last week I noted that the 4th house, your astrological heart, isn't related to your 7th house as much as it is on an axis with your 10th house.
Today note, that the axis for the 1st house is your 7th house, your intimate relationship(s), these reveal our shadows, the parts of us that are not gathered back into unification yet. We reincarnate to have experience that helps us see where we are separate still. Our intimate others show this to us. They support our unification, if we are willing to take that back into the whole.
Intention: Create a purposeful intention to use in practice on Saturday.
