Again, we find ourselves at the zero point, the dark moon. The illumination of the Moon is shadowed by the illumination of the Sun. Moon is the anchor to our field of karma and Sun is the anchor to our purpose. They come together once a month so that we can dive deep, listen to that deep yearning and calling, clear out something and then as the Moon starts waxing toward full, illuminate that truth or dharma to the world, eventually full faceted on the Full Moon.
These rhythms are everything.
This technically the new moon day with the exact degree of fullness at 2:24am. The Moon and Sun are at exact degree in Revati Nakshatra - the last stellar space of the Zodiac before the new beginning. A symbol I like for Revati is a fish jumping out of the water only to jump back in for another round.
Revati is the mystical realm and the fish is coming from that place of mysticism to the material world for another go, another life, another lesson, another love.
What can you bring from this realm to make the mundane more enjoyable?
New Moon is a great time for beginnings, for starting something that comes from deep within, towards alignment with your dharma, your truth.
This particular cycle is a ripe time for your spring cleanse (I start mine tomorrow), spring cleaning the house, setting new intentions.
Tomorrow I will share a new course on finding balance through the elements. Bites of the course will be here for the paid subscribers (with sneak previews for the free subscribers). And the full course will be housed in the library of the Wisdom Sanctuary. You are welcome to join for 30 days to get full access to these lessons (and so much more) if you want more of the lessons.
For now, consider in what ways do you yearn for more balance? What areas of your life are being avoided. What does it mean to be in balance?
Blessings on this new moon.
Peace.
