Today the Moon transits Chitra, starting in Virgo this morning then will move to Libra.
Chitra is the fourteenth nakshatra of the Zodiac and is represented by the symbol of a diamond or a bright jewel of value.
For the Chitra dominant person, there is a sense that everything has its place and purpose and it is closely associated with the celestial architect. With that knowing, Chitra people are good at creating and projecting a vision.
Like Mrigashira, Chitra is ruled by Mars and indicates the courage and energy it takes to project a bigger vision. Mrigashira was about the search where Chitra is about doing something with what was found. Here we are learning the natural order of things.
With Chitra comes a major challenge and that is this shattering of illusion. Chitra has so much energy that is used to create and project a vision, at times the light is too great and they don’t see things for how they truly are. When that happens, their illusion is shattered. This also points to how diamonds may be made…through years of great pressure, something of great value emerges. That is a Chitra life lesson.
Where Mrigashira is an innocent child, Chitra’s eyes have been opened to the realities of this dimension. There are physics of Earth that cannot be escaped.
When Moon transits Chitra, like it is doing today, you might be compelled to work in the gardens, clean the house, or do some other types of navigation. You might be building that perfect quilt or structurally oriented handcrafting, as that is common with Chitra.
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star lullaby was my original pick for this nakshatra but I’ve updated my pick to The Power is Here Now….
Would love to hear if this resonated for you, and how.
