Creating New Habits Part 2

A lot has happened since I wrote about ‘Creating New Habits’ a week ago Monday. The world fell apart. Again.

I just listened to a livestream with one of my favorites wisdom sharers and elder, Stephen Jenkinson, and he was talking about shift. And here is what he said (paraphrase):

A shift of one degree… down the road is a shift of centuries.

Boom.

Let that land for a beat.

It is a worthy endeavor to try to make a shift, to whatever small degree.

It’s not easy. You may fail. And you’ll just get up, dust yourself off and try again.

The New Moon is at 7:30am tomorrow morning (Monday May 30) in Rohini, exalted, with creative blessings and the potential for supreme growth in an Earth sign. This is a super practical supportive place for real life shift.

Did you work on your Point A that I discussed in Part 1: Find it here. Your current work was to explore what is bothering you that needs support in moving in a new direction. And maybe all that changed.

The next step is to plant that seed. There are multitudes of ways to do that, to multitudes of degrees.

But I’m tired. You’re tired. Let’s keep it simple.

Before you go to bed tonight, plant that seed in your heart and allow it to penetrate into your subconscious dream realm tonight. Write a sentence or two down in a journal before you go to sleep and go to sleep with fervent faith that your inner support system will do the watering and fertilizing. Wake up early… before 7:30am if possible. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and walk outside to drink it as you sit in the field of potential shift.

Just one degree is needed. What is that degree for you?

I want to add just one last personal note that you may care to know or not care to know. Jyotisha is the science of light, of consciousness, and how it rises in uniquely faceted ways in each of us. I couldn’t imagine a greater blessing than having this science claim me in some small way.

Along with the science of light is the study of the wheel of time. The Vedic concept of time is absolutely mind blowing. What we understand is that time if fixed and unchangeable and relentless, without bias. In our realm, we have to abide by the laws of time.

And these opportunities of astronomical/cosmic alignments are these glimmers in this fixed time situation where we might be able to align with support of Goddess and make that 1% shift.

I know its a thing.
