This blog post has been nagging at me to write.
I resist. And finally start with the first word, Embody.
The world feels like it is falling apart. Again.
You feel that, too?
I woke up re-membering… we are here to embody the light. And this is no easy task.
At the time of our birth, the first breath we took, activated vitality within us that is a reflection of the cosmos, the stars. Vitality brings power and gifts… our strengths that help us to be of service in this precious life cycle here on Earth.
This comes through what we call "Jyoti” or “light.” It is the light of consciousness in its vast arrays and colorations, so individual and unique, as to create a myriad of reflections.
But for this light to shine through, we have to learn the art and skill of embodiment, which is the “How.” And that, my friend, is complicated.
Because after that first breath began a journey of conditioning and further impressions that create smoke that prevents our light from shining through unobstructed. We were conditioned and groomed and learned to “fit in.”
And a day comes. The day comes. And we know we are not this conditioning and these patterns and we start our healing journey trying to soften these impressions and samskaras so that we create these new grooves for the light to shine through.
I call these our wormholes. Once you’ve encountered enough of these impressions, or little traumas held in the body and soften them with your loving presence, what is left are these pathways to peace, little wormholes, that let the light begin to shine through. If you want to know about light, you need to be willing to be an excavator and meet the darkness (your shadows).
And only you can do that for you.
We are in the hours leading up to the full moon lunar eclipse that happens tomorrow afternoon. Tonight/now the Moon is almost full in Revati nakshatra, which is symbolized by the lighthouse or the shepherd, lighting the way for safe passage through difficult times. Revati also shines the light on everything without regard or preference. And the full moon and lunar eclipse tomorrow is with Ashwini, the initiation of a new journey.
It is time to take those next steps forward.
By Sunday, the karmic axis will have shifted from Rahu in Aries and Ketu in Libra, to Rahu in Pisces and Ketu in Virgo and this is a pretty big deal. If you’ve been struggling, likely this changing of the guards is causing you to feel off kilter in some way. This new nodal cycle will last for the next 18 months and will smooth out soon.
Rahu represents our soul’s journey through this life. It creates smoke so that you have to work hard to figure out what to do next. It is what allows you to grow and evolve.
Ketu represents what you have perfected in the past and tend to avoid at all costs now. Because you perfected it, your soul is less interested in learning those lessons again.
The last time the nodes were in Pisces/Virgo was March of 2005 through October of 2006. And the time prior was August 1986 through March 1988. If you are curious what might be on deck, reflect to those years and try to remember what lessons you learned. Likely you’ll be spiraling in to refine those lessons (create more wormholes so the light shines brighter through your awareness).
Also, now could be a great time to have a first or follow-up reading. I’m happy to read for you and you can sign up here: https://thewisdomsanctuary.as.me/jyotisha
