Full & Exalted Moon in Rohini

The moon is full at exact degree tonight at 11:08pm ET (however, we are considered full now, in this fifteenth tithi).

I’m delayed in sharing my take on this full moon, probably because the energy has me diving into the creative realm. The shakti (innate power) for this nakshatra is the power to make things grow. This is where the moon is it’s most powerful and favorite place.

And Mars in Retrograde is in exact degree to this full moon placement. Mars is fast and furious and about courage, willpower and strength and retrograde multiplies this.

This enhancement or multiplication is so much that it might be hard to emotionally feel you can keep up with this inspiration and growth. And that can lead to frustration or anxiety.

There is also a little downside to this particular full moon and that the moon could be feeling the intense glare from the Sun, in exact opposition in Jyeshtha. Jyeshtha has the power to rise above the adversity and conquer, however sometimes this can feel overbearing and we may feel judged (inner critic or projections from others).

Best just to be aware of the energy at hand, use it to powerfully grow the seed you planted at the last new moon. This is an auspicious and supportive time for growth.

And it sets up 2023 in the most beautiful of ways. My teacher is calling it the mini age of Aquarius that starts next month. Technically, from sidereal zodiac (Vedic), the age of Aquarius doesn’t happen for several more hundreds of years, but this is our sneak preview.
