On Monday, 2:26pm Eastern Time, the Moon will be Full at exact degree with Dhanishta in the sign of Aquarius.
Full Moon is Full Activation and Full Shakti/Power and it is in the lunar mansion of Dhanishta, which bring the power to give fame and abundance. This is the placement of “being seen” in a full arena.
Showing up.
Speaking up.
And speaking up for the collective good.
However, Saturn is also in the sign of Aquarius, in retrograde, with Purva Bhadra, the one who wears a mask and hides (and sometimes removes the mask).
With this particular full moon, fear may show up. Fear shows up and paves the way for courage. Fear is the precursor and lets you know the call for courage is on deck.
Sunday evening at 7:00pm Eastern Time, I will be hosting a Full Moon Activation Breathwork class focused on addressing fear and ushering in courage.
This class is online via Zoom and I would love for you to join in.
Full Moons are the counter to the New Moon Seeding which took place two weeks ago in the deeply sensitive nakshatra of Ashlesha where deep transformation happens. You may still be feeling the effects of the shedding of skin and find yourself more vulnerable and ready to hide, yet the time and the Moon is calling for you to show up and reveal yourself in a broader circle, to step into the arena (in whatever way resonates for you).
You can read about the Ashlesha New Moon from two weeks ago here.
I’d love for you to join me on Sunday. Here is the sign-up link.
If you are local and prefer in person breathwork, I also have a class at the sanctuary at 10am on Saturday morning. You can find all the offerings here, including astrological readings.
And for kicks, a meaningful poem that caught my breath:
The Facts of Life by Padraig O Tuama:
That you were born
and you will die.
That you will sometimes love enough
and sometimes not.
That you will lie
if only to yourself.
That you will get tired.
That you will learn most from the situations
you did not choose.
That there will be some things that move you
more than you can say.
That you will live
that you must be loved.
That you will avoid questions most urgently in need of
your attention.
That you began as the fusion of a sperm and an egg
of two people who once were strangers
and may well still be.
That life isn’t fair.
That life is sometimes good
and sometimes better than good.
That life is often not so good.
That life is real
and if you can survive it, well,
survive it well
with love
and art
and meaning given
where meaning’s scarce.
That you will learn to live with regret.
That you will learn to live with respect.
That the structures that constrict you
may not be permanently constraining.
That you will probably be okay.
That you must accept change
before you die
but you will die anyway.
So you might as well live
and you might as well love.
You might as well love.
You might as well love.
