Full Moon - Uttara Ashada (Punarvasu)

Officially, the full moon is tomorrow at 2:37pm East Coast time but we will feel the fullness of it tonight so plan accordingly, your full moon rituals.
This is considered the most benefic full moon of the year. The full moon happens when the moon and the sun are 180 degrees from each other, embracing the Earth with their luminosity.
Uttara Ashada is highest/ultimate victory and brings with it the success in all directions and endeavors in life. Punarvasu, where the Sun is, means “Again the Light,” it is the return of light, of wholeness and the realization that we are never separate or limited, ultimately the light will return. And generally it takes three times to learn that lesson.
I find it quite interesting that on the new moon two weeks ago the Sun was in Ardra, the storms (that was a fierce new/dark moon and also was the prior full moon) and now As Saturn Just Now Returns Into Capricorn, the Sun is here in Punarvasu with the rainbow reminder, the dawn after the storm, that we will be ok.
However, this is the olive branch of hope to get us through the next months. Many of us are already feeling that to be the case.
Really take the time to seal in the energy and understand of the message of this Full Moon and use this time as a ritual to remind yourself. Go out in nature and find a rock or a feather or something to put on your altar to remind you of the blessings being bestowed on this auspicious evening.
This is the Full Moon of the Guru and we celebrate our teachers. All outer teachers will tell you that they are simply a reflection of your own inner guru, the flame at the altar of your spiritual heart. The goal is to allow that flame to become brighter, burn illusion and shine pure light.
