Today the Moon is in the “Life is Good” portion of the Zodiac, in the sign of Leo. A symbolic representative of this energy is a cat napping in a hammock (which I plan to do a little purring in my hammock this afternoon). One of the lessons of the Purva Phalguni person is that you are lucky, not lazy. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone, including yourself. I always suggest turning away from all that work and just go rest in the hammock for a beat. Remember your luck and loosen the grip of any storyline that tells you that you need to justify or earn this. You Are…and that is enough. This script plays in my subconscious, too, so today I’ll be resting and unwinding that a bit, while honoring my hammock 😂.
Tomorrow is the Ekadashi, 11th day and the time of month for a 40-hour fast (fasting from the external in order to find that monthly internal alignment). Some people fast from food, tech, sound and turn within. Ekadashi, 11th day, is the moon phase of the month (happens twice a month) where we are most amenable to shift.
I’m writing less often lately for a variety of reasons. One is that there isn’t so much going on right now, all the big changes happened. So I’m riding that wave of ease and writing just enough to help you stay in the lunar rhythms, if you are syncing to them. The other is that everyone is just so overwhelmed. I’m also in a process of integrating some really big ahas…which requires quiet and simplicity.
If you have some astrological questions and want to post them in the comments, I’ll do my best to answer your questions in these emails, as a general response that feels useful to all. I’m always curious to hear what interests you.
I came across this song recently and thought you might want to take a listen while in your hammock (or however you rest) today:
