Today the moon has made it to Capricorn, in opposition and thus intertwined with Cancer, to start the end of this lunar cycle.
The full moon in exact degree is tomorrow evening at 9:36pm but starts around midnight tonight, starting in Shravana, which is the listening star that is able to listen to what is the most subtle, what is unsaid…and repeating it. It is the call and response star and about preserving.
But the ending or finale of this full moon is in Dhanishtha, the audience, the pod of dolphins. There is no reason to repeat something if there isn’t an audience to receive the message.
Like our inhalation ends at a centerpoint of our consciousness, the new moon represents a seed of karma planted in the collective consciousness, seeking expression from within ourselves out into the world.
And like our exhalation imbues that wisdom gleaned from that centerpoint throughout our body, the full moon represents the external expression and shows karma that requires integration from environment back into consciousness.
Our breath is part of this cycle of retracting in, listening and breathing out and expressing, integrating.
And Saturn is here in Dhanishtha as well, requiring us to consider time and not just blurting out whatever we think ‘we know.’
…Requiring humbleness to lay down the identification as the ego self.
…Requiring us to grow and evolve beyond our limitations in order to ‘get it right.’
That can be frustrating for us in the way we identify and maneuver in this world.
The best remedy is the big ‘time-out'. Meditation: Building a relationship with Saturn and Saturn’s values. And on Saturn’s Day, Saturday, we will again touch base with our “learning to meditate” class at 10:30am-11:15am-ish. Before that, I’ll teach a 9-10am yoga-ish class focusing on Yoga as Self-Massage. It can be available online, just hit me up and let me know you are planning to join.
