On Sept 23, I wrote to you about the seed being planted at the new moon in Uttara Phalguni.
New Moon reflects to us a seed of karma planted in the collective consciousness, seeking to sprout expression from within us and out into our world.
The new moon in Virgo/Uttara Phalguni nakshatra, which in general means the future result of our present actions was that seed. And it fell at the time of a cycle of honoring ancestors and healing our past. If you want to re-read what I wrote, you can click here.
During this cycle, I hosted an amazing retreat with six people where we worked with our ancestral karma collectively and individually. It was a powerfully charged and transformational weekend and this is our collage describing our experience. (I do plan to host more intimate circles like this and if you want in, message me privately. I’m not sure if I will be market them widely.)
And now we approach the most powerful full moon of the year, and possibly in many years.
My sense is that this moon marks the shift of the end of this liminal space and the beginning of the emergence.

The full moon happens in the sign of Pisces where the Moon, fully faceted and reflecting the gentle and healing energy of Revati nakshatra (star).
The full moon represents the external flowering and shows karma that requires integration from our environment and back into consciousness.
The point of everything is to align with nature, to merge the microcosm back with the macrocosm.
Like the breath expands and contracts, inhale is the new moon and exhale is the full moon.
«As above, so below»
This slice of the sky, Revati, means wealth and abundance. Spiritual wealth, ideally because it is Pisces (but also Earthly wealth at least part of the journey). The deity governed by Revati is Pushan, the cosmic shepherd who directs lost souls back to where they belong, he lights the path home.
Revati is the last of the 27 stellar nakshatras and this nakshatra contains the whole of the zodiac.
«Omniscient»
We spend much of our life making meaning and justifying through story why things happened to us and who our families are and how bad they were and the awful things they did to us. I have no doubt that bad things, horrible things, have happened to most of us, nor am I excusing them.
However, it is the storyline that traps the energy and keeps the unhealed karma of our ancestors in our lineage and being passed down through generations. It is the seers and healers of that lineage who step into a new path to shift it, free it, and let it find its way back to where it belongs.
We are the ones freeing our familial and lineage karma to be absorbed back into the macrocosm.
As soon as a piece of energy is freed up, miracles seem to happen. The calls come in. The yeses arise. Repair is made. Revati’s shakti (power) is the power to nourish and to create miracles.
This repair is always available and it is even more so available in these coming days and months.
The Sun, being reflected through the light of the full moon is with Hasta in Virgo. Hasta is the star of manifestation, pure fishes and loaves type of energy, and Venus and Mercury are also here in Virgo. As with the new moon two weeks ago, Virgo is the 8th house of the ancestors as we bring this healing energy to a completion and integration back into the macrocosm. At least the part that we’ve willingly surrendered and offered up.
Jupiter is here in Pisces with the full moon and over the next six months, Jupiter will be blessing us with this Uttara Bhadra and then Revati gifts of spiritual wealth. It is right there for you to plug into and align with.
By October 23rd Saturn will be out of retrograde and by mid-January be thriving in the sign of Aquarius, the place of ancient healing technologies rising up again and finding new validity. (Yoga & Ayurveda anyone???)
As light and fluffy as I make this sound, this doesn’t mean it is easy. You have a choice with what eyes to see from and learning to access that choice is the way to peace. It is the way of peace.
I know of nothing more important and most relevant now than to learn to see from these eyes and choose to align.
“You’ve always had the power my dear, you just had to learn it for yourself.”

Last Friday, my teacher, Anna, shared this powerfully moving song before class and it goes along with the vibe of today’s writing and this full moon. I hope you enjoy it:
And finally, here is a full moon yoga nidra practice for you. I may offer an impromptu class on Sunday and my vacation has turned into a staycation. Let me know if you are interested in attending (in person or online possibly).
I’ve been really considering how to move forward with these blog postings. I’d love to hear from you what you’ve found useful. I may start to focus more on the rhythm of the new moon and full moon cycles (next up is new moon solar eclipse) as well as the Ekadashi cycles and other noteworthy astrological transits. That would put this blog in your inbox about once to twice a week.

I soak in any of your content but I am learning so much from the astrological information as I am independently studying Jyotish to create a comprehensive understanding. Thank you!
