Good morning and blessings on this new moon.
Here at the last few minutes, I’ve decided to put some thoughts out on this new moon and our political climate.
I was asked recently if I think astrologers can be unbiased and my answer was “no.” I do not. I think we can do our best to be objective. But as human beings we are bound by our karmic lenses: 1) Most importantly our rising sign and planetary ruler - this is just how we see the world; plus add on the karma shown through the 9 planets and nakshatras, we are all unicorns in how we perceive and express. Hands down. 2) Secondly, we are all going through a karmic cycle that blatantly colors our lens of perception. And there is no escaping the karma.
So, no. I do not think we are unbiased. I think we can do our best to be objective and also know that whatever comes out of mouth is colored by the stained glass of our astrology, our karmic cycle and our earthly conditioning. If we have ability to co-participate, it is with the conditioning we’ve picked up during this lifetime. And that is where we can strive to be more objective and let go of our belief patterns acquired.
As the clock strikes 8:47am this morning, the Moon will be in direct degree with the Sun, causing a new moon and a new cycle. The new moon cycle is always about planting seeds. However, Swati nakshatra, which is where the Moon and Sun is, is about spreading seeds far and wide.
Swati is ruled by Rahu which is about evolving as a soul on a higher octave. Rahu brings us to obsessing over something that is being denied to us until we can get on board with what we are rejecting (Ketu). As we bring on the lessons and medicine of the past (Ketu), we are more able to tame our obsessive nature and step into service in this life.
Ultimately that is Swati. She is bridging two sides of the zodiac: The human life growing up and then the human life evolving to the spiritual life where it understands that there is more than independence, we also must honor interdependence. As MLK Jr. advised, “No one is free until we are all free.”
To predict a race when we begin early voting and also that the votes are likely not to be tallied at the end of the day on Tuesday, makes it difficult. People look at the candidates natal charts, the country’s natal chart, they look at the time of the close of the polls, the day of the week, and the list goes on.
Generally my eye is on bigger cycles of time. I’ve been looking at the eclipses over the last many years, I listen to my intuition and meditation, I go deeper. But that doesn’t mean I’m unbiased. I definitely am for women’s bodily autonomy and that is where I draw the line. I do not know what is best for the country as a whole, but I do know that when women are free to make their own decisions, we all benefit and thrive. When women are 2nd class citizens, we all suffer (except maybe the top 1% puppet masters).
When someone is born under an eclipse, that brings them tremendous power, but with power comes responsibility and if that isn’t honored, there is a great possibility of the king being dethroned. No one knows the ways of karma. And what I mean about that, is that maybe we are dealing with all of this because of karmic ripples made by our ancestors centuries ago, and it has come back to us to take a strong dose of medicine that we are rejecting.
On the flip side, Rahu is that powerful energy that drives us to evolve. Kamala Harris has Rahu in here first house of Gemini, both the Ascendant and Rahu are with Mrigashira which is about finding fulfillment through searching. THIS new moon with Swati, ruled by Rahu, is in her 5th house, where also her ruling planet is, Mercury. Additionally in her 9th house, she has friendly Saturn in Retrograde, and transiting the skies now is Saturn in Retrograde in Shatabishak, also ruled by Rahu.
As we are a Rahuvian society, the rebels that forged a new road (USA), I predict these Rahu nakshatras are more aligned to bringing us healing medicine through the vessel of Kamala Harris, where the Rahu energy as eclipse energy is what will “kill the king” so-to-speak.
This is a bigger conversation. I hope I’m right. I am biased toward Kamala. Take what resonates for you and let the rest go.
At the end of this life, we will all be healed. That we can count on
