Blessings to you and wishes for a healthy and integrative new year.
It’s 2024 y’all!
I’ve taken two weeks off to reflect, re-member, and iron out the the wrinkles of last year. In numerology, 2023 was a 7 year. In Vedic astrology, that is the number of Ketu. Ketu is about perfection of the past knowledge and bringing it to the foreground. According to my new friend, Andrea, who gave me an Egyptian Numerology reading last week, the 7 year is about ‘spiritual growth and evolution and alignment with the soul path.’
That is exactly how 2023 felt for me. And that wasn’t fun, my friends. Not for me, anyway. I had the double-whammy as it was also my personal 7 year.
Now we are in 2024, an 8 year. The number 8 is associated with Saturn. Saturn is the most benefic of all the planets as we evolve and grow and learn our karmic lessons. Saturn requires us to be of service to the collective, to humanity, and when we learn to be humble (bowing down our ego) in honor of these greater values, we can be sure that the expansive benevolence of Saturn will be bestowed upon us. Or at least that’s the idea.
From the Egyptian Numerology, this 8 energy is about ‘self empowerment, building self-confidence, abundance and financial success.’
I don’t know about you, but I needed to hear that. So I am sharing with you as well. I don’t know much about numerology but I’m all about hope and optimism so I’m sharing a dose with you today.
On Thursday January 11 6:57am, we have the first new moon of the year in Purva Ashada, known as The Invincible Star.
This is in the sign of Sagittarius, where Mars and Mercury are also transiting (and Venus will enter on January 19th.
Purvashada brings the shakti of the power to invigorate! V-I-C-T-O-R-Y !!
Sagittarius Mula and Purvashada nakshatras are quite intense placements, especially with so many planets transiting at one time. This is the place of inner spiritual pilgrimage, doing the hard excavation and inquiry to find the deep truth of who we are, and to find the inner vigor to come back out and face the demons.
It is hard work.
But… you’ve got this. You just put one step in front of the other and move through it.
Call a friend. Have tea. Converse. Share your woes. Share your victories.
And remember, this year is about ‘self empowerment, building self-confidence, abundance and financial success.’
We’ve got this.
Hopefully this email didn’t resonate for you as things are amazing and rosy. But if it did, I see you and am resourced enough to help share the burdens. Message me and let’s talk!
And… I have a few spots left in the New Moon Circle on Tuesday Jan 9, 6-8pm. This is the in-person class that I don’t open up often to drop-ins. I’d love for you to join us. Sign-up here. We will work with the New Moon, New Year and co-participating with these ideals of self in-power-ment and in-vigor-ation.
Also, for those interested and following your personal (Vedic) astrology, starting this Sunday is the online Inner Light monthly class where we discuss a topic, have some time for Q&A and I finish with a 30-minute guided meditation working with your natal chart and helping you with alignment and dealing with difficult karma. It is open to anyone with Zoom all over the world. You can sign-up here. If you plan to attend, send me any questions ahead of time as those questions submitted will take priority.(no recordings or replays offered)
And of course, you can find all the things at links below.
Be well, my friends.
With love,
Jenn
