And here we are in the midst of eclipse season. I know, I know…it’s not been easy. Word (iykyk).
10 days before and 10 days after are considered part of the energy of the eclipse, so that puts us at April 10 through April 30 with the peak energy happening late Wednesday night through early hours of Thursday.
For me, this season has brought about tremendous growth and breaking out of old patterns. I find myself daily breaking out of the confines of prior established societal agreements and aligning in new ways, with new people. And practically speaking, I had another bout of vertigo during this eclipse timeline.
On Wednesday at midnight (Thursday 12am), the new moon (Sun and Moon) are at exact degree and close to Rahu in the nakshatra of Ashwini. Ashwini is the star that initiates a new life, a new cycle and it is in the portion of the zodiac that is related to the Cosmic Throat Chakra. Additionally, Mercury is in the mix of the eclipse energy and Mercury rules our Throat Chakra. Mercury is the planet of communications.
What does this mean? The old guard, the old ways of communicating, expressing are being dismantled for some of us.
(For others, beware of how you are relating and speaking, it might go sideways.)
The throat chakra is related to the throat/vocals, tongue lips, cheeks, jaw, inner ear (vertigo, anyone?), as well as the shoulders, back of the neck.
This is awakening within and the impetus to re-align with our truth, to speak our inner truth (which is not a mental framework).
And at the same time aligning us to the energy of freedom and effortlessness and move with the flow of life.
This is the opportunity I’ve been speaking about for a few months, the time to take that new step in a positive direction with full support of the cosmos. But to make those changes, you have to know what you truly want and be willing to let go of the things that are not in support of this supportive, positive direction.
This IS the seed busting out of its hard encasement, to drop roots and sprout up.
Being birthed isn’t easy. You have to squeeze through and bust out of the place you’ve outgrown (but loved) and be willing to never look back. You cannot go back to the way things were in that warm, cozy cave. Because you no longer fit there. You’ve outgrown that home and now it is time to plant new roots firmly into earth in this new understanding, this new spiral.
And, just like that, on Friday, Jupiter joins this union to bring hope, optimism and wisdom and comfort us in this transition. I may write more later about the upcoming special day on Saturday… likely I’m off doing my own work so who is to say if I’ll record my musings or not, but I’ll try.
