Uttara Phalguni | The Partnership

Moon in U. Phalguni + Shukla Navami (9th lunar day after new moon)

Today the Moon transits Uttara Phalguni, in the signs of Leo and Virgo. U. Phalguni is the twelfth nakshatra of the Zodiac and is represented by a symbol of the marriage bed and the life-sustaining fig tree (a resource-giving tree).

It means to striving, reaching for the highest fruits. This is about accumulating resources that are enduring through partnerships or marriage. These are the type of resources that maintain life.

Unlike Krittika, which is the first octave of the Sun nakshatras and has the sense of having to go it alone and cut ties, Uttara Phalguni, this higher octave of the Sun nakshatras is learning that it is time to find the right resources to do something bigger.

1+1 doesn’t equal 2.

1+1 equals a stronger ONE.

We are only able to bear fruit depending on how strong our roots are. With Uttara Phaguni, we combine with another to have that strong foundation to reach for the sky.

The shakti for this nakshatra is the power to accumulate security.

When Moon transits Uttara Phalguni, like it is doing today, you might find yourself connecting deeply with your partner or you may be considering your business and other relationships and how you can be stronger in relationship with common goals.

For me, last night I dreamed about my husband’s work relationships. On par with this nakshatra which the Moon started travelling around 5pm last evening.
